Willoughby Hills, Ohio

These four cabins sit in an overgrown area of the Cleveland
Metroparks, not far from Squire's Castle. We dont know when
they were built, or when they were abandoned, and why. Some
of the graffiti inside the cabins say 1968. This could have
been done while the cabins where still in use though. Some
day we'll get a hold of the park service and see what information
they might be able to offer us.
These cabins are pretty typical of any you might have stayed
in while at a cheap camping resort. They face eachother, each
one about 120 feet across from the other. The park service
does little to keep people out of them. while some of the
windows are boarded up, most of the doors are not, and on one
where the door is boarded up, several planks of wood from the
side wall are missing. A nice place to stop and check out
while you're visiting Squire's Castle.
