Seville, Ohio

This amusement park opened in 1878. The park was home to
three roller coasters - A wild mouse, a steel kiddie coaster
named the Little Dipper, and a larger wooden coaster. A tumble
Bug ride (still there) which is a very rare ride (only 3 in
the US and 1 in the UK). B&O Railroad runs directly behind
the park. Chippewa officially closed due to lack of attendance
in 1978. The most prominant reason is that they couldnt get
gambling approved for the grounds. Many of the original rides
were sold or auctioned, but still many remain.

Today, the park is left forgotten in the small town of Seville.
Trees have pretty much taken over, growing up through and around
the coasters, and poison ivy is everywhere.
