The Clothcraft Clothes factory, was operated by the Joseph & Fiess
Co. We're not sure when this particular building was built, but we
know that the company was founded in 1846. It was the oldest
manufacturer of men's wear in the country, and one of the oldest
businesses in Ohio.
The property has two separate buildings on it. These were once
connected by a larger building, though that building was torn down
sometime in the past year.
Its a large building. Four stories and a basement level. We didnt
get to explore the basement though, because of a lack of flashlights.
The inside is pretty bare. Just one large room per floor and a few
restrooms. Not much else. A fun exploration though.
