Of the many vacant homes along Route 18, this one appears to be
in the worst condition. The exterior walls are falling inward
and the living room floor has caved in and is slowly pulling
everything into the large hole in the floor. We were cautious
about walking around inside, and were unable to spend too much
time there. The house was a mess and had an unfriendly odor
about it. We've named it "The Sinking House" because it seems
that at anytime this house will be swallowed up into the ground.
Another interesting feature of this home is the large number of
blue 55 gallon drums scattered all over the property. There
are also two out-buildings. Both are loaded with interesting
items.
