Traverse City, Michigan
This is Traverse City State Hospital. This is a beautiful old
Kirkbride building, first opened in 1885, as the Northern Michigan
Asylum for the Insane. Thankfully this amazing building is in
the process of being renovated, preserving this piece of history.
